dog parks in Orlando

Looking for a place you can take your pooch for a walk, or run free off-leash? Check out these popular local hotspots for dog lovers right here in Orlando.

Lake Eola Park

While not exclusively for dogs, this park is a favorite for dog owners and dogs alike! With poop bag dispensers at frequent intervals around the park and a pet-friendly atmosphere, you can enjoy the mile-long path around the lake with your pup in tow. There are even a few dog-inclusive events scheduled here throughout the year. Pro tip: watch out for the geese.

Barber Dog Park

This fenced-in, off-leash dog park is your furry friend’s new favorite destination. Smaller and larger dogs have separate places to play and plenty of soft grass to run around in. This park even includes some agility structures for training and play.

Meadow Woods Dog Park

This off-leash, enclosed park is also separated into sections for big and small dogs. Meadow Woods also has walking trails and a convenient shower spot to rinse off muddy paws and tails. For pet owners with kids, there are nearby children’s play structures so the whole family can enjoy a day at the park.

Downey Dog Park

This fenced-in, off-leash park includes lots of comfortable benches for owners to sit, baggies and doggie drinking fountains for thirsty puppies. Pets and humans love the ample amount of shade at this park, and while the sand and dirt yard means bathtime is a must when you get home, dogs love playing in the dirt and making new friends in this sweet, local spot.

Bear Creek Nature Trail

This nearly one mile long trail winds through cypress, oak, and palm trees and welcomes leashed dogs. Although this path is smack dab in the middle of the suburbs, the trickling creek and sandy bluffs create a wilderness vibe that will allow you and your furry companion to unplug from the hustle and bustle of the city.
