Even it’s not officially Valentine’s Day, you’ll want to take your date to one of the most romantic restaurants in Orlando for some special occasion throughout the year! Whether you prefer casual, upscale, or a fun atmosphere, Orlando is the place to dine and date!
Luma is an upscale, casual dining experience in Winter Park. Dinner is served seven nights a week. If you and your date want to sink your teeth into a bit of everything, share the small plates. Sweet potato soup, fuji apple and beet salad, and ceviche will light the culinary romance aflame at your table for two. For dessert, share the milk chocolate custard.
For an ultra fine dining experience, make a reservation at Normans at The Ritz Carlton. Maybe it’s the linens, or maybe the plush seating, and high-end decor, but this place has us wanting to put on our finest pearls and dining apparel (although the dress code is business casual). Begin with a tapa like ceviche or empanada, and for a main plate try the pork Havana. To accompany your meal, you will find a selection of wines from around the world! For dessert share one Grand Marnier with Chocolate Mousse – one dish, two spoons!
Chef Norman’s inspiration for the cuisine was thus: “If a map of the world were a tablecloth, and I could choose a place at that table, I would sit at the southern tip of Florida, at the nexus of North America and the Caribbean. My plate would touch Cuba, the Florida Keys, the Yucatan, the West Indies, the Bahamas, and South America…”
Moving to more casual, but much, much more fun is Maxine’s. This is Orlando romance for the fun at heart. Here you can find three course dinners for only $30 (that deal will make your heart and wallet flutter!). The perfect night for date night at Maxine’s is Tuesdays, where you can enjoy half off bottles of wine. Thursdays is perfect for couples with the Two for You special where a 3 course pre-fix menu is just $50.
