Few luxury apartments in Orlando are as ideally situated for shopping as Altis Sand Lake. From bargains to high-end boutiques, there are options to fit every style and budget. Whether you’re in the market for clothes, furniture or Disney collectibles, there are malls, outlet centers and shopping districts in every direction.
Vineland Premium Outlets
Traffic on Vineland Road leading to the outlet can be a nightmare but not for locals in the know. The Daryl Carter Pkwy Bridge over I-4 provides a quick, back road route to the popular outlet. Off Fifth and Ralph Lauren are top destinations at this shopping mecca, along with preferred retailers like Tory Burch, Coach and St. John outlets. Those with more modest budgets can find standbys like The Gap and Nike Store.
Mall at Millenia
On a rainy day everybody heads to Millenia. It’s a newer mall with gorgeous finishes and only the best stores. Shoppers will find Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, and Neiman Marcus along with Louis Vuitton, Cartier and New York export Henri Bendel. The food court is modeled after an Orangerie and has ample seating. There are also great restaurants like Cheesecake Factory and Capitol Grille on the premises.
Just past the mall is an Ikea to get everything you need for your new apartment. If you can’t find it there try West Elm in front of the mall or the very handy Container Store across the street. Conroy Road is one stop shopping for all your needs and only a few miles away.
Dr. Phillips Marketplace
For quick shopping trips and the necessities, Sand Lake Rd. and Dr. Phillips Blvd. are perfect. There are big box choices like Home Goods and Office Depot along with smaller locally owned stores. You’ll also find a Publix in the center, which has an in-house demonstration kitchen.
