Swim with Dolphins at Orlando’s Discovery Cove

Ever wondered what it would be like to feed tropical birds and swim with bottle-nosed dolphins? You can experience this if you make your way to 6000 Discovery Cove Way. Here, you will find one of the most well-known attractions in Orlando, Discovery Cove.

Founded in 2000, Discovery Cove is often described as an “exquisite tropical island paradise.” There is plenty for adults and children to enjoy, such as walks on the ocean floor and signature experiences at Serenity Bay. Popular among visitors is the Grand Reef, where you can cross a bridge to visit the sharks, before playing hide-and-seek with exotic fish.

Admire cascading waterfalls at the Wind-Away River and swim in the heated lazy river, after going on a SeaVenture. A SCUBA certification isn’t required for this innovative experience, which lasts for an hour and gives you an opportunity to stare into the eyes of sharp-toothed sharks.

Don’t forget to visit the Asian Small-clawed Otters at the Freshwater Oasis!

The Altis at Sand Lake Apartments are situated near a wide range of attractions in Orlando to keep young and old residents entertained throughout the year. Contact us for more information about relocating to the area.
